AutoDesk Smoke:: Enable Apple Trackpad Zooming And Panning? Apr 4, 2013 Is there a way to enable apple trackpad zooming and panning? Similar Messages:.
ADVERTISEMENT Jun 19, 2012 having problems when generating managed media through the Mediahub from H264 into Apple ProRess 4:2:2 (HQ). I tried different options but that happens that it never finishes rendering the files, and the Jobs tab shows the system updates the files randomly with a 'busy' status while all of the others show 'waiting'. However nothing happens. I entered the managed folder from the Store and have nothing but a couple of 1 frame clips.
Aug 30, 2012 I'm trying to create CFX clip with alpha so that i can place it over another clip in timeline. CFX clip is build from source and then i generated mask with gMask node and brought together with Blend&Comp node. I created CFX clip from Blend&Comp node. There is option in CFX clip settings Generate Alpha, but it is greyed out. Additional form for siblings. Does some one know why is this so or how can i achieve same result with CXF output? Jun 5, 2013 But, how do I enable Snap to Markers in the Timeline View? Dec 20, 2012 When I pan around a drawing by holding down the scroll wheel of the mouse button, I sometimes pan quite slowly, AutoCAD decides to zoom to extents.

I know I have not double clicked the scroll wheel. Mar 16, 2009 I don't mean the Zoom Tool, but simple zoom in/out operations. I seem to recall that the default behaviour in Photoshop was that you zoomed with Ctrl+mousewheel scrolling, and if you just scrolled, then the picture would pan up/down (vertically). And you could untick the 'Zoom with scroll wheel' option if you didn't want Ctrl+scroll to mean 'zoom'. However for a while now, having that option ticked seems to mean that scrolling (with no Ctrl) is all it takes to zoom in/out, and if you untick the option then you need to press Alt+scroll to zoom; in either case, there is no shortcut for panningup/down.
Anyway, whether this was really ever the case or not, my question is: is it somehow possible to make it so Ctrl+scroll zooms and (simple) scroll pans vertically? Jan 16, 2012 I'm using a student version of RAC 2011 and everything works out well upon installation. My problem is that whenever I pan or zoom in on my model, the screen will blink black and white, and at certain zoom level, the screen stays all black. I'm using an ASUS K52jc-Ex303 laptop with the following specs: Operating System: Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit Processor: Intel Intel® Core™i3-370 2.40 GHz Memory: 4GB DDR3 Graphics Card: NVIDIA Geforce 310M I have already installed the latest drivers from nvidia, which doesn't seem to work. Matter of fact, it's so bad, that i'm always forced to turn off hardware acceleration which is a headache especially with large-scale models and it keeps on crashing.
I understand the fact that this GPU was built for gaming, and its not listed in the list of recommended graphics cards by autodesk. (I get the some features. Message everytime i open RAC) My question is, is there anyway I can tweak the settings within the nvidia control panel to improve this issue on my revit architecture 2011?
Nov 7, 2011 I thought I would just check with the experts before I go down a road that may be a dead end. What I am trying to do can best be described if you happen to have watched some of the Harry Potter movies, where they walk down a staircase that has all the historical paintings on the wall. Unlike standard paintings, these ones take on a life of their own and have movement inside the frame.
I would love to do something similar, albeit in a simpler fashion, by having a large static image on the main track, containing several picture frames, and then pan and zoom around this static image looking at all the moving images (videos) in the picture frames. One thought I had was to create a very large images (4000 X 3000) containing all the picture frames. Then, in the overlay tracks I would place all the videos that would represent the moving paintings. The videos would be lined up with the picture frames using the picture-in-picture effect, and then I would pan-and-zoom around the static image viewing all the videos as they played simultaneously in the overlay tracks. I fear there are several problems with this strategy, the central issue being that when I pan-and-zoom the main track, the overlay tracks wont pan-and-zoom with it. Perhaps I could move the videos around the screen in sync with the pan-and-zoom, but that seems pretty difficult.
Is what I am trying to do even practical in VS Pro X4? Mar 23, 2012 My laptop died recently and I had to get a new one then reinstall my AutoCAD 2010 software. Trouble is the mouse wheel no longer zooms or, when held down, pans any more. I have spent the last couple of hours trying to sort this but to no avail - nothing happens when I use the mousewheel at all.
SO frustrating as I use this all the time! I run Windows 7 Pro OS and the mouse is a fairly basic HP model with two buttons and a wheel. (maybe I need to upgrade the thing.!) Jan 9, 2013 Since installing SP1, I have noticed 'ghosting' when panning/zooming in paperspace i.e.
The original image is still visible. The only solution I have found is to turn off Hardware Acceleration and then turn it back on. IDSP Premium 2014 (mainly Civil 3D 2014 UKIE SP1 & Infraworks with some limited 3ds Max Design) Win 7 Pro x64, 256Gb SSD, 300Gb 15,000 rpm HDD 16Gb Ram Intel Xeon CPU E5-1607 0 @ 3.00GHz (4 CPUs), 3.0GHz NVIDIA Quadro 4000, Dual 27' Monitor, Dell T3600 Mar 8, 2013 So recently I started making something in Inventor, and like most programs you can press the middle mouse button and it will pan or orbit. Well I'm pretty sure that in the past if I pressed the middle mpuse button it would pan or orbit.
But now it is zooming all for the model, and only when it is zoomed to the whole model does it let me pan or rotate. If I were to zoom in on a line for example and wanted to pan to the right, it zooms me out to the whole model, and then I can pan. I have tried multiple mouse buttona all combinations of shift ctrl and alt and middle mosue, but nothing is working. How can I make it so it does not zoom all when clicking the middle mouse? Jul 21, 2010 I guess because the view is actually saved, but is there a way to disable view saving or any other way that an UNCHANGED drawing does not ask me to save? This is related to the option to combine zoom and pan actions in undo, but what I really want is to remove them from undo completely.
That way if you zoom out you could see what changes, and you wouldn't LOSE THE ABILITY TO REDO by zooming. Optimally, AUTOCAD could ask for each drawing whether it should save, and then save the ones that you selected, together.
This way you could just leave the application to save and tab to something else I'd be really happy to see this option in future releases. Because when you undo you can't always see the change, and being able to zoom/pan independently of the action history would mean that you can look at the drawing without losing the latest drawing. Aug 14, 2012 I've installed Illustrator CS6 recently and found the behavior of panning with the scroll wheel annoying. When I have low zoom values (e.g. 75%) the scroll wheel lets me pan U-D, L-R at normal speed, but if I zoom in (200% and up), the panning slows to a point where it is unusable at 600% and up.

I use Shift to speed it up but at high zoom levels it's not enough. This wasn't the case for Illustrator CS5 or 5.5 where panning with the scroll wheel worked at the same speed at any zoom level. Dec 31, 2013 I recently upgraded from Photoshop Elements 9 to Lightroom 5, When I moved the catalogue over, all keywords transferred, and Albums became collections. When I used Photshop Elements, I could easily sync the Albums with my Apple Tvs to display the pictures, as well as my other Apple Devices. I can not figure out how to export the collections to the Apple devices, especially the Apple TVs. There must be a way given the power of this software. Aug 29, 2013 I know that the AJA Kona 3 card has 2 outputs.
Tenfourfox 45.19.0 free download for mac. Can Smoke send one eye to one channel and the other eye to the other of the Kona 3 card? Dual Stream output is what I am really getting at. Feb 26, 2013 Is there any way that Smoke can see/output sub-blacks and super whites? Can't find any way of seeing them on my scope, Smoke just clamps everything.
It won't even see anything below zero in order for me to make a correction on it, everything seems to be clamped on import. I'm using ProRes HQ footage. Jan 16, 2014 What is the best plugin to do spline warps in smoke?(need something like the distort in flame) I notice revisionfx don't make a warper for smoke on mac.
Oct 2, 2012 I am experimenting with Smoke 2013 pre-trial and I am having issues with importing images and video with alpha channels. If I have a layered Photoshop file or png with an alpha channel (a still frame lower third), I see that I can import it as a multi layered clip, but what is the best way to have it in the sequence to show up properly? If I have a QuickTime in animation format or Pro Res4444 format with an embedded alpha, how can I import that file to show and cut it on a top layer to animate above my video? Oct 18, 2012 Can Smoke support the OFX architecture? Jul 10, 2012 Does Smoke have selection functionality similar to that of Combustion?
As an example, you might want to selectively blur part of an image. In Combustion, you would draw a selection and then apply an operator above the selection to achieve this. I don't see a similar selection tool function in Smoke, but I imagine you could achieve the same effect by duplicating a layer and using a Gmask via the Wipe timeline FX.does Smoke not have a selection tool similar to Combustion? Jan 10, 2014 Whats the dealing with importing TWs to Smoke?
I have a show that's 70% keyframed with timewarps and need a way other then baking the effect to bring it into Smoke. It's comming from FCP7 and we have Automatic Duck but neither the XMLs or AAF bring anything other then the first speed of the clip. Any way to retain the keyframes? Jul 16, 2013 The trackpad on my laptop won't Zoom in or out in Illustrator CS6 Aug 9, 2010 I noticed in Photoshop, the pinch-zoom ability on a trackpad works great to zoom into files open on Photoshop. How do you turn that feature on in Illustrator? Feb 20, 2011 I just installed lightroom 3.3 and I cant seem to get my trackpad (HP Envy laptop) to work inside of LR3.3. When i try to two finger scroll, LR shows a dynamic scroll graphic but the current pane does not scroll.
Oct 27, 2013 Is it possible to run Flame or Smoke over a VPN? I mean, is it possible to get a license over VPN? Smoke 2013 Ext1 17' Mac Book Pro OS X 10.8.5 16 GB RAM Aug 5, 2012 I tried Smoke 2013 PR2 on my MacBook Air 11'.
It uses all the available RAM that is 4GB. Same experience with Smoke 2012 on my MacBook pro 13'. Is that normal? Nov 14, 2011 I have RED footage which I exported as EXR.
When I import them back in, they look exactly like the RED footage. But when I import the EXR in Fusion, export it back out, and then import that EXR into Smoke, it looks brighter, although I didn't change anything in Fusion. (when I compare the EXR from Smoke and the EXR from fusion in my finder on my desktop, they look exactly the same). So what is Smoke doing with the 'foreign' exr on import?I was also playing with the LUT settings. I get a result which is close, but I need to be exact.
Jun 27, 2012 Where do you set context in batch in the 2013 prerelease? Oct 29, 2012 When I export a XML from FCP 7 all of my files come over and link but there is no video with my HDV files (1440 x 1080) all of my other files (Canon FX etc) come over fine.
Jun 4, 2011 What is the best way to downconvert 5D HD to SD? I converted the h.264 files to uncompressed 10bit. Bringing in the footage and XML was fine, but as soon as I resize to PAL (the timeline was changed to PAL, as was the output on the AJA) the picture starts anti aliasing in detail areas. I have processed this with every filter in Smoke with no satisfactory result. Jul 7, 2013 I am having issues for a long time regarding importing XML into smoke 2013.
Will try and explain you in breif. First When we try an import XML into smoke it just doesnt do anything, in the message history box it comes up saying FOUND 0 SOURCES.
Nothing gets imported at all. No footage is imported, nothing is shown in timeline as well. Second For a different project when the XML does get imported, the videos get imported but then again nothing is coming up in the timeline and in the message history box we get the following error. XML Validation Failed.
Cannot process unliked media. We have checked all the import options to make this work, including max up level and the rest but nothing is working.
